Frank Doerwald Sr., an 80-year-old white male, was tragically murdered on July 10, 2021, in Crestview, Florida. Known for his friendly and active nature, Doerwald frequently visited Shoal River Wayside Park, also known as Duggan Park, where he enjoyed meeting new people and engaging in conversations with strangers. On the day of his death, Doerwald's body was discovered in the park, with his car keys missing. The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 1:30 p.m. reporting t ...
