Joseph Albert Rigdon, a 29-year-old resident of Palatka, Florida, tragically lost his life on October 28, 2020, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on a Wednesday evening when deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Lettie Lane. Upon arrival, they found Rigdon injured near his home, just east of Florida 19. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, Rigdon succumbed to his injuries. An autopsy conducted the following day confirmed that he died from a gunshot wound.
