On a cold January day in 2016, the life of Lamont Raheem Mally, a 24-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On January 29th, Mally was fatally shot, becoming another victim of the gun violence that plagued the city. Emergency services responded to the scene, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead.
