Carl Branch, a 32-year-old resident of Fort Myers, Florida, tragically lost his life on October 17, 2020, in Zephyrhills, Florida. The incident occurred at Samuel Pasco Athletic Park during a children's football tournament. Branch was shot and killed in the parking lot adjacent to the park around 1 p.m. The Pasco County Sheriff's Office reported that the suspects were an unknown number of Black men wearing dark clothing, believed to be from the Fort Myers area.
