Melinda Soria, a 35-year-old resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, tragically lost her life on July 18, 2017. She was found shot to death around 8:25 a.m. in the 1100 block of James Avenue South. The incident occurred in the doorway of her mother's home, where several other individuals were present at the time. The sudden and violent nature of her death shocked the local community and prompted an immediate investigation by the St. Petersburg Police Department.
