In the spring of 2015, a violent encounter on the streets of Baltimore ultimately claimed the life of Tyrone Edward Damon. A 30-year-old Black male, Damon was shot on March 22, 2015, at 1 N Monroe St in Baltimore, Maryland. For over two weeks, he fought for his life, a testament to his will to survive the grievous injuries he sustained. However, despite medical efforts, he succumbed to the gunshot wounds on April 7, 2015, leaving a community to mourn and investigators with a homicide to solve.
