Detective Todd Fatta, a 33-year-old white male, was fatally shot on August 19, 2004, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fatta, a nine-year veteran of the Broward County Sheriff's Office, was part of the Law Enforcement Against Child Harm (LEACH) Task Force.
