In the early morning hours of November 6, 2022, the life of 36-year-old Dzondria Walters, an African American mother of two, was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in southwest Atlanta. Atlanta Police officers responded to a call on Stephanie Drive around 9:20 a.m., where they discovered Ms. Walters suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the arrival of Atlanta Fire Rescue, her injuries proved to be fatal, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
