In the summer of 2022, a life was tragically cut short in a Suwanee, Georgia neighborhood. Abel David Castellanos Camacho, a 16-year-old male, was found shot in the chest on July 19, 2022, outside the apartment complex where he resided with his family. The family had moved to the United States from Venezuela six years prior, seeking a safer life away from the violence they had experienced in their home country.
