In the spring of 2022, the life of 16-year-old Kymelo Early was tragically cut short in a parking lot in Macon, Georgia. On the evening of May 9th, Kymelo was with a group of males at a Friends Food Mart on Houston Avenue when a single gunshot ended his life. He was rushed to Atrium Health Navicent where, despite the efforts of medical professionals, he was pronounced dead shortly before 9 p.m.
