In the early morning hours of May 6, 2022, the life of 19-year-old Chyrek Lowe was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Lowe, a young male, was at the Ashley Cascade apartments on Kimberly Way when he was struck by multiple bullets. In a desperate bid for help, he was placed in the back of a white Chevrolet Malibu and driven three miles to Atlanta Fire Rescue Station 31 on Fairburn Road.
