On a Thursday afternoon in May 2022, gunshots shattered the everyday noise at a busy Valero gas station at the intersection of Redan and Panola Roads in Stone Mountain, Georgia. When the chaos subsided, 25-year-old Ahmir Rosairo, a male, had been critically wounded. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries, his life ending on May 5, 2022.
