In the late winter of 2022, a domestic argument in Warner Robins, Georgia, escalated into a tragedy that would ultimately claim the life of 52-year-old Phillip Thompson, an African American man. On the morning of March 7th, police were dispatched to a residence on North Davis Drive where they discovered Thompson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was provided with immediate medical attention at the scene and then transported to the Medical Center, Atrium Health Navicent for further treatment.
