A talented and beloved chef, Lashunder Shree Edge, was the unintended victim of a drive-by shooting in Atlanta, Georgia. On the evening of March 1, 2022, the 64-year-old grandmother was walking into a Chevron gas station on Lakewood Avenue to cash in a lottery ticket when she was struck by gunfire. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Another man was also wounded in the shooting but was able to transport himself to the hospital for treatment.
