A 71-year-old woman, Barbara Luke, was shot and killed while driving in Columbus, Georgia, on the afternoon of Sunday, January 16, 2022. The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on Delray Drive. The gunshot wound caused Luke to crash her car into a tree. Authorities arrived at the scene and attempted to save her life, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
