In the quiet town of Ellaville, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that would forever alter the lives of one family. On October 26, 2021, 61-year-old Bobby Holbart Bridges, II, a U.S. Navy veteran and skilled craftsman, was found in his home on Georgia Highway 240 East with a fatal gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency services were called to the residence, and Mr. Bridges was rushed to Phoebe Sumter in Americus, but his life could not be saved.
