In the autumn of 2021, the life of 37-year-old LaDon Brantley Burley, an African American male, was cut short in Augusta, Georgia. On the morning of October 24th, Burley was discovered deceased inside his mobile home located in the Augusta Estates Mobile Home Park on Milledgeville Road. The coroner confirmed that he had sustained at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at 7:10 a.m. At the time of his death, Burley was on parole, having been released from prison just two months prior.
