In the early morning hours of October 8, 2021, the life of 16-year-old Jamarion D. Scott, an African American male, was tragically cut short in Tifton, Georgia. Responding to a call just before 1:00 p.m. in the 700 block of Timmons Drive, police officers discovered the young man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate attention, Jamarion was pronounced dead at the scene.
