In the late summer of 2021, the life of a young father was tragically cut short in Decatur, Georgia. Justin Maurell Johnson, a 29-year-old male, was fatally shot on September 18, 2021. Originally from Medina, New York, Johnson had moved to Decatur in 2020 to be closer to his mother and was working as a supervisor at FedEx. He was a devoted father to his three children.
