In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Acworth, Georgia, a domestic dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving a community in shock and a family shattered. On September 12, 2021, 32-year-old Adrienne Rush was shot in her home on Parke Brooke Drive. Acworth police responded to a call around 2:40 a.m. and found Rush suffering from a gunshot wound.
