A promising young life was tragically cut short in Warner Robins, Georgia, over the Labor Day weekend of 2021. Fifteen-year-old Tanyla Johnson, a female student and gifted athlete from McDonough, was visiting family in the area when she attended a large block party on the night of Saturday, September 4th. The gathering, located near the intersection of Mauldon Court and Dunmurry Place, had drawn a considerable crowd, prompting a complaint to the police about cars blocking the streets.
