In the late summer evening of August 24, 2021, tragedy struck in southwest Atlanta, forever altering the lives of those who knew and loved Anthony Teeno Flowers. A 52-year-old male from Riverdale, Flowers was found with a gunshot wound in the 500 block of Whitehall Street. The area, which is home to loft apartments and various fitness and dance studios, became the scene of a homicide investigation when officers responded to a call just before 8 p.m.
