In the early morning hours of July 6, 2021, a violent altercation in northwest Atlanta tragically cut short the life of 23-year-old A'nisha Shavers. An aspiring cosmetologist and business owner, the young Black woman was fatally shot in an incident that also left her mother, 44-year-old Janean Alicia Baker, wounded.
