In the pre-dawn hours of July 2, 2021, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Country Gardens Apartment complex in Dallas, Georgia. When Paulding County sheriff's deputies arrived at the Harmony Path location shortly after 5:30 a.m., they discovered a grim scene in the parking lot. Lindsey Darnell Foster, a 31-year-old African American male, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency medical services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
