It was a grim start to a Wednesday morning in Macon, Georgia, when 46-year-old Darryl Dewight McCrary was found fatally shot. The incident, which unfolded in the early hours of May 19, 2021, took place in the parking lot of the Reliance Food Mart on Napier Avenue.
