In the late evening of May 13, 2021, the life of 20-year-old Travis Isreal Edwards, Jr., an African American male, was tragically cut short in Savannah, Georgia. Savannah Police officers were dispatched to the Bricktowne Flats apartment complex on Peach Tree Drive around 9:45 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Edwards suffering from gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
