In the early evening of May 4, 2021, a burst of violence shattered the peace in a grocery store parking lot in Jackson, Georgia, leaving a local man dead and a community in shock. Terry Don Crawford, a 47-year-old male, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Ingles grocery store. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after 6 p.m., but Crawford was pronounced dead. He was a master tech mechanic at Express Tire.
