In the early evening of March 2, 2021, a sense of normalcy was shattered on Eisenhower Drive in Savannah, Georgia, when gunfire erupted. Responding to the scene near Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah Police officers discovered a vehicle stopped in the road. Inside, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. The passenger, 51-year-old Sheldon Lovett, succumbed to his injuries. The driver, identified as 53-year-old Bobby Clark, was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical but stable condition.
