In the early moments of February 6, 2021, the life of 19-year-old Jaylan Dobbins was tragically cut short in Columbus, Georgia. A 911 call, placed just ten minutes after midnight, alerted the Columbus Police Department to a shooting incident at a residence located at 1402 16th Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Dobbins inside a bedroom, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response, his injuries proved to be fatal.
