On October 29, 2020, Sayvon Redding, a 27-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The incident occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Summer Ridge Lane around 6:30 p.m. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found Redding lying in the parking lot with at least one gunshot wound.
