Joshua Horne Sr., a 26-year-old Black man from Macon, died on October 12, 2020, after a shooting at the Hunters Run Apartments in the 6000 block of Thomaston Road. Investigators said the violence began as a verbal altercation that turned physical, and somewhere in that escalation a gun was produced.
