In the early evening of October 5, 2020, the life of 15-year-old Ja’rique Johan Brown was tragically cut short in Douglas, Georgia. Authorities responded to a call on Creekwood Road around 6:00 p.m. and discovered the young male deceased in the roadway from an apparent gunshot wound. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to assist the Coffee County Sheriff's Office with the homicide investigation.
