A beloved father and community advocate, Mohammed Abdus-Salaam, was shot and killed on the night of October 7, 2020, in a sudden act of violence outside his Atlanta, Georgia, home. The 42-year-old man, known affectionately as 'Dooly,' was returning to his residence on the 1000 block of Camilla Street SW when the fatal encounter occurred.
