A man who had recently relocated from Louisiana to Georgia, Tamario Jenkins, was fatally shot in a Newnan home in August 2020. Responding to a report of gunfire, Newnan police officers discovered Jenkins on the floor of a residence on Meadowbrook Drive, suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported to Piedmont Newnan Hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
