On July 5, 2020, 30-year-old African American male Davius Dewayne Johnson was fatally shot during a house party in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred around 1:00 a.m. at a residence on Azalea Drive, where an altercation escalated into gunfire. Multiple individuals reportedly drew firearms and began shooting, resulting in three people being struck.
