In the warm evening of July 5, 2020, a house party on Azalea Drive in Macon, Georgia, turned into a scene of violence that would claim the life of 30-year-old Davius Dewayne Johnson. An altercation broke out among several people at the gathering, escalating quickly and tragically as multiple individuals drew firearms and began shooting. In the ensuing chaos, Johnson was struck by multiple gunshots. He was rushed to The Medical Center, Navicent Health, but succumbed to his injuries.
