In the summer of 2020, the life of 16-year-old Cuatez MaHad Jones, an African American male from Milledgeville, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the afternoon of June 20th, Jones was found with multiple gunshot wounds on a path near the Milledgeville Manor apartment complex. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Jones, known affectionately as 'Tez,' was a beloved son, brother, and friend who had a passion for dancing, fishing, and cutting hair.
