In the spring of 2020, the life of 49-year-old Kenneth Emanuel Smith was tragically cut short in what authorities described as a home invasion in Statesboro, Georgia. On March 27, Smith was found with a gunshot wound to his left torso in the parking lot of The George Apartments. Emergency services transported him to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, but he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
