On a Saturday evening in January 2020, a young man’s life was cut short in a fatal shooting at an Exxon gas station on Lawrenceville Highway in Lilburn, Georgia. Giovanni Segura, a 23-year-old Hispanic male from Lawrenceville, was with his girlfriend when an altercation unfolded. The dispute escalated, and Segura was shot. His girlfriend immediately called 911 and rushed him to Eastside Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
