In the early morning hours of December 7, 2019, the life of 23-year-old JaBrie Savonjay Dominguez was tragically cut short in Augusta, Georgia. The young man was at a local nightclub when gunfire erupted, leaving him and another man, 28-year-old Charles Edward Lawson III, fatally wounded. Dominguez was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:00 a.m., having been shot at least once. Lawson was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
