A 32-year-old man, Gabriel Jackson, was the victim of a homicide in August 2019. His body was discovered in a wooded area in Thompson, located in McDuffie County, Georgia, on the night of August 13, 2019. Jackson, who had been residing in North Augusta, South Carolina, was reported missing three days prior to the discovery of his body. He was last seen leaving his apartment complex. An investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office ensued.
