On the night of Christmas Eve in 2011, a 30-year-old Black man named Damond Wallace was found shot in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of Baltimore. The discovery was made just before 11 p.m. in a grassy area in the 2700 block of Giles Road. Wallace had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
