In the summer of 2019, the life of a young man from Sardis, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the night of June 23rd, 16-year-old Tybralyn Kelly was on North Hill Street when he was shot in the back. First responders found that he had been fired upon three times. Kelly, a male, was rushed to Burke Medical Center and later transferred to Augusta University Medical Center, but he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
