In the winter of 2019, the life of John Anthony Allport, a 55-year-old man from Columbus, Georgia, was brought to a tragic and abrupt end. On the evening of Wednesday, February 20th, police were called to a residence on Tip Top Drive where they discovered Allport had been fatally shot.
