On the evening of February 3, 2019, in Stone Mountain, Georgia, a violent encounter outside a convenience store tragically cut short the life of 54-year-old Timothy Newhouse. A grandfather and a male who had relocated to the Atlanta area to pursue his passion for music, Newhouse was fatally shot in the chest in the 6300 block of Memorial Drive. The incident unfolded after an argument that began inside the Soni Food Mart spilled out into the parking lot.
