In a tragic and sudden burst of violence on a November evening, 25-year-old Jack Myles lost his life. The young man was shot and killed on November 17, 2018, near the intersection of Austell and Pat Mell roads in Marietta, Georgia. When Cobb County police officers arrived at the scene around 6:20 p.m., they discovered Myles on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
