In the early morning hours of November 1, 2018, a fatal encounter at a gated apartment complex in Atlanta's Buckhead neighborhood resulted in the death of 38-year-old Adalberto Narvaez-Pozos. The Hispanic male was shot and killed at the Allure at Brookwood apartments on Peachtree Valley Road. A second man, identified as Tomas Garcia Carrillo, was also shot but survived his injuries.
