In the summer of 2018, the life of 30-year-old Deonta Wallace, a Black male from Atlanta, Georgia, was tragically cut short. On the evening of July 12th, on Verbena Street NW, Wallace was shot and killed. Investigators believe that the fatal shots were fired by a passenger in the car he was exiting. His family shared the heartbreaking belief that he was robbed and murdered by individuals he considered to be his friends.
