In the early summer of 2018, the life of 19-year-old Tamashe Diquan Jones was tragically cut short in Statesboro, Georgia. A recent graduate of Statesboro High School, Jones was shot in the chest on the evening of Friday, June 1, 2018, at the Park Place apartment complex. Despite being rushed to East Georgia Regional Medical Center by neighbors who found him, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
