In the summer of 2017, the community of Albany, Georgia, was shaken by the tragic death of Ashley Sapphire Boggs, a 28-year-old Black female. A graduate student at Albany State University, Boggs was discovered in the driver's seat of her car just after midnight on August 3, 2017.
