In the early hours of the Fourth of July in 2017, a day meant for celebration, tragedy struck in Macon, Georgia, ending the life of 39-year-old Kelvin Willis. Bibb County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a person shot on Houston Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. Upon their arrival at an apartment building in the 3400 block, they discovered Willis unresponsive inside one of the units.
